We have two new films this week at Malverne Cinema and a new one for our Bellmore Movies. Here goes:
“Robot & Frank” Rated PG-13, 89 minutes. Starring Frank Langella as an aging retired cat burglar whose two grown children are concerned that he can no longer live alone. A nursing home is considered, but since the story is set in the near future, another option is taken instead. A humanoid robot. Also starring Peter Saarsgard, Susan Sarandon, Liv Tyler, Jeremy Sisto and James Marsden.  Distributed by IDP distribution.

Over at our Bellmore Movies we’re bringing in “2016: Obama’s America” Rated PG, 90 minutes. Documentary. Love him or hate him, this film claims we do not know him. You decide.  Distributed by Rocky Mountain Pictures.

Starting September 7th @ Bellmore is “The Words” starring Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Zoe Saldana.
Coming next to the Malverne Cinema are “The Matchmaker” (held back one week), “Searching For Sugar Man” also “The Master” and of course we welcome suggestions.
This summer seems to have shot by. Labor Day is around the corner and so is the new school year. We wish you a wonderful end of summer.
