On Wednesday the 19th @ 7pm is “Dreams From My Real Father” presented by the Massapequa Tea Party. Q&A immediately following the film with the director, Joel Gilbert. Tickets are $5 each and sold at the door.
On Thursday the 20th @ 7:30 is “The Last Shot”, an independent film premiere about addiction and its struggles. Donations accepted at the door.
Coming soon to the Malverne Cinema are “Searching For Sugar Man” & “The Master” plus two independent films: “Broadway’s Finest” (on 10/5), winner of this year’s Long Island International Film Expo for ‘Audience Choice’ and “Excuse Me For Living” (on 10/12). Don’t forget, Wednesday is bargain day at the Malverne Cinema and Tuesday is for Bellmore. Either day it’s $5.50 per person admission.
