“Labyrinth Of Lies”  Rated R, 2 hours 3 minutes.  In German with English Subtitles.  Hold onto your hats with this one!  Realizing that some Germans claim that they never heard the expression “Auschwitz” and upon learning that many former Nazis returned to their pre-war lives with no penalty, an ambitious young German prosecutor vows to bring them to justice 20 years later.

“Victoria”  Unrated, 2 hours 18 minutes.  In German and Spanish with English Subtitles and also in English.  This film is a cinematic marvel!  One continuous take!  No cuts, no computer generated images, no nothing!  A runaway party girl meets and joins three friendly men for a night on the town, which winds up going terribly wrong.

“He Named Me Malala”  Rated PG, 88 minutes.  Documentary focusing on the courageous teenage Pakistani school girl who was shot by the Taliban in an effort to silence her from speaking out on girls’ education.  In December 2014 she became the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.

The New York Film Critics Series is back on our screen with two films in November – “Shelter” starring Jennifer Connelly and written & directed by her husband Paul Bettany on 11/10; and “James White” starring Cynthia Nixon on 11/17.  The post-show interviews occur elsewhere and not at our Cinema, just to be clear.  Admission is $18 per person – a price set by the Series.  For further information please log onto their website – http://nyfilmcriticsseries.com/.

On Saturday, October 24th @ 7:30pm we are proud to again host The Bronx Wanderers.  Brought Back By Popular Demand and quite possibly the best 2 hours of the ’50s, ’60s & ’70s Rock ‘n’ Roll that you will ever experience!!!
On Saturday, November 7th @ 8pm Music Men Productions are at it once again with “Assisted Living: The Musical”.  Bring your funny bones along to enjoy this unique approach to the aging experience that’s as welcome as an antacid after a bowl of five-alarm chili!!!!!  Tickets are $40 each and are reserved seating.
On Saturday, November 14th @ 8pm comes Diamond – One Hot Night – a tribute to Neil with a sound, look and show like you’ve never seen before that will knock you out!!  Tickets to this show are $40 per person.
