Warning!!!  This Saturday they are having the Holiday lighting festivities in the streets of Malverne.  They begin to close Hempstead Avenue around 3-3:30 and reopen at 9-9:30pm.  WE are still open and you can get around this by driving to Church Street off of Ocean Avenue just South of the railroad tracks.  Park anywhere in town there or in the lot of Town Hall and you can walk over the track footpath and you’ll be in our back parking lot.  If you are already in town when they shut the streets, no worries, they easily let you leave.  Another route is to come from Franklin Avenue using the back roads and park in the Astoria Bank parking lot or anywhere legally on the streets.  The plus to this is a free movie showing of “The Smurfs” @ 10:30am & 12 noon.  If you are a smurf fan or know a young person who is, then you are invited!!
Have a wonderful stress-free week.
