This week we have something I’ve requested year after year – this year’s Oscar nominees for Best Live Action Short Film and Best Animated Short Film. These two programs are being presented at our Malverne Cinema. Here goes:
“2014 Oscar Nominated Animation Shorts” Program runs 1 hour 50 minutes and is Unrated, however, our guess is that it should be rated PG-13 on the conservative side. The following are its titles: “Feral”; “Get A Horse!”; “Mr. Hublot”; “Possessions”; “Room On The Broom”. Distributed by Magnolia Films.
Friday to Thursday @ 2pm & 4:30
“2014 Oscar Nominated Live Action Shorts” Program runs 1 hour 48 minutes and is Unrated, but we’d give it an R rating as a whole program. The following are its titles: “Aquel No Era Yo (That Wasn’t Me)”; “Avant Que De Tout Perdre (Just Before Losing Everything)”; “Helium”; “Pitääkö Mun Kaikki Hoitaa? (Do I Have To Take Care Of Everything?)”; “The Voorman Problem”. Distributed by Magnolia Films.
Friday to Sunday @ 7pm & 9:40
Monday to Thursday @ 7pm & 9:30
“American Hustle” Rated R, 2 hours 13 minutes.
