This week we have 3 new films at our Malverne Cinema. The Bellmore Movies is holding over with slight schedule changes. Malverne First.  Here goes:
“Darling Companion” Rated PG-13, 1 hour 43 minutes. From Director Lawrence Kasdan, best known for “The Big Chill”, comes the story of an empty nester couple who find a wayward dog on the freeway. Who is really lost? Starring Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline.  Distributed by Sony Classics.

“Monsieur Lazhar” Rated PG-13, 1 hour 34 minutes. SUBTITLED produced in French. Drama/Comedy billing. A teacher of elementary education in Montreal suddenly passes away. Coming soon to both the Malverne Cinema & Bellmore Movies is “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” and it looks like a good one. If you’ve seen the coming attractions it has a stellar cast.
Don’t forget our bargain days! At the Malverne Cinema it’s Wednesday and at the Bellmore Movies it’s Tuesday. Both ”stimulus” days are priced at $5.50 per person any showtime, matinee or evening.
Mother’s Day is May 13th. Gift certificates to either of our Cinemas is not only fast and easy but also enjoyable! Either location accepts each other’s gift certificates for your convenience.
