Over at our Bellmore Movies we are opening the documentary “Cave Of Forgotten Dreams” instead of at Malverne as originally planned. A beautiful cinematic experience brought to us by Werner Herzog (“Grizzly Man”) about the Chauvet Caves in France that have the oldest artwork known to the modern world, drawn by the hands of early man dating back 30,000 years ago.

Our other film scheduled for this week “L’Amour Fou” will be held back a bit.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully we’ll see some sunshine!

Please note, due to huge expenses we regrettably have a ticket price increase effective May 27th.  We will still have our bargain day on Wednesday of $5.50 per person.  Use that to the fullest!  Our adult price will become $9.50 and senior/child or shows scheduled prior to 5pm will be raised to $7.50.  Not a huge increase and still below some of our surrounding movie theatres.  IF you have unused gift certificates they will still be accepted, but you will be charged the .50 cent difference.  Just wanted everyone to be aware of that.  We’ve held off as long as we could.  I hope everyone understands.

Until next week!
